Identifying Opportunities for Collaboration
The project timeline helped you visualize how many engagement opportunities you’ll have and how those opportunities align with your design deadlines. Now, you can use this worksheet to start thinking about what those engagement opportunities will look like. In order for engagement to be equitable, you want the people who are most affected to have the most power over the process. This means that you needs to identify opportunities where the community can collaborate on the design.
The following Miro Board worksheet can help you identify opportunities for collaborative learning and decision making, by starting with what you already know. This worksheet can be used many times throughout the engagement process. As you learn new information, you can add more to the first column "What do we know?" and use this to plan additional opportunities for learning and decision making.
